Just sometime back, in fact just in August, it was announced that Kangna Ranaut would be starring in Deepa Mehta's adaptation of the novel Midnight's Children by Salman Rushdie. However, time changes a lot and so has the star cast of this film. The latest is that Kangna has dropped out of the said project. Kangna's spokesperson said, "Yes Kangna has actually opted out of the film Midnight's Children which is being made by Deepa Mehta. The reason for this change is Kangna is really busy and her dates are clashing with that of Deepa's film."
